Hawaii is committed to preventing and identifying fraud and abuse in the Medicaid program. It takes a partnership between the Medicaid agency and the public to make that happen.

Medicaid Recipient Fraud if you think someone may be receiving Medicaid that they are not entitled to such as financial assistance, food stamps, etc. you can call the Investigations Office of the Benefits Employment & Support Services Division. The hotline number is (808) 587-8444.

Medicaid Provider Fraud if you want to report Provider Fraud, which includes doctors, nurses, hospitals, durable medical equipment suppliers, home health services, physical therapy, personal care attendants, etc. you can call the Medicaid Investigator. That number is (808) 692-8072.
